APPROVAL OF AN ADDITIONAL ASSISTANT PLANNER POSITION IN THE\nCOMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT\nPresented by Eddie Fenton, Assistant City Manager/Director of Human Resources\nPurpose: Add one new full-time equivalent Assistant Planner position in the Community\nDevelopment Department. Associated costs in the amount of $43,575 for the current\nfiscal year is proposed to be funded from the undesignated General Fund reserve\nbalance.\nRecommended Action: 1) Authorize one new full-time equivalent (FTE) Assistant\nPlanner position to the Community Development Department; and 2) Approve a budget\namendment in the prorated amount of $43,575 from the undesignated General Fund\nreserve balance for the remainder of the fiscal year for the Community Development\nDepartment.
