8. Approval of an updated Affordable Homeownership Expansion Program\nand Project Activities Implemented by the San Gabriel Valley Habitat for\nHumanity.\nStaff recommends that the City Council: 1. Approve the updated\nAffordable Homeownership Expansion Program and Project Activities\nfrom funds authorized by the City Council on October 6, 2021; and 2.\nAuthorize the Director of Finance to appropriate funding for this updated\nProgram and Project Activities and make the necessary budget\nadjustment; and 3. Authorize the Chief Executive Officer, City Attorney,\nand Special Legal Counsel (Christensen & Spath, LLP) to continue\ncarrying out all subsequent and needed actions to proceed with the\nProgram, including approving real estate purchase transactions, and\nexecuting agreements including forms of Agreements for using American\nRescue Act Funds, and Future Development Funds.\nSTAFF REPORT\nPUBLIC HEARING
