P. ADOPT THE CITY’S FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 INVESTMENT POLICY GOVERNING THE\nINVESTMENT OF CITY FUNDS\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Adopt a Resolution entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING AN INVESTMENT POLICY\nGOVERNING THE INVESTMENT OF CITY FUNDS AND SUPERCEDING\nRESOLUTION NO. 25023.”\n2. Delegate the City Council’s authority to invest and reinvest public funds and to sell\nor exchange securities so purchased, to the City Treasurer for one year or until\nearlier revoked by the City Council.
