SECOND READING AND ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE APPROVING ZONE\nCHANGE AMD-22-02 AT STORY PARK, 301 NORTH STORY PLACE, 305 NORTH\nSTORY PLACE, 311 NORTH STORY PLACE, 317 NORTH STORY PLACE, 323\nNORTH STORY PLACE, AND 327 NORTH STORY PLACE – F2M21-22, O2M23-4813\nOn June 26, 2023, the City Council conducted a public hearing to consider the disposition\nof real property, a Lot Line Adjustment, General Plan Amendment, and Zone Change for\nthe landlocked, unimproved real property approximately 0.29 acres, or 12,937 square feet,\nin size that is part of Story Park (the “Property”) (APN: 5337-002-900) but is separated\nfrom the improved portion of Story Park by a concrete channel known as the San Pascual\nWash. After receiving public testimony and deliberation, the Council voted unanimously to\nadopt several resolutions to effectuate the disposition of the real property as well as to\napprove a Lot Line Adjustment (LLA) and General Plan Amendment (GPA). The LLA\ntransfers the approximately 0.29 acres of landlocked, unimproved real property at Story\nPark to each of the six abutting private residential properties to the east. The GPA changes\nthe General Plan land use designation of the transferred land from Open Space to Low\nDensity Residential. The Council also voted to give first reading to Ordinance No. O2M23-\n4813 that changes the zoning designation of the transferred land from OS (Open Space)\nto R-1 (Single-Family Residential). Staff requests that the City Council declare this\nordinance introduced for its second reading and adopt the ordinance.\nRecommended Action: City Council declare introduced for its second reading and\nadopt the following ordinance entitled:\nOrdinance No. O2M23-4813: An Ordinance of the Alhambra City Council\nreclassifying the zoning on an approximate land area of 0.29 acres located at\n301 North Story Place (APN: 5337-002-022), 305 North Story Place (APN:\n5337-002-021), 311 North Story Place (APN: 5337-002-020), 317 North Story\nPlace (APN: 5337-002-019), 323 North Story Place (APN: 5337-002-018),\nAnd 327 North Story Place (APN: 5337-002-017), in the City of Alhambra from\nOS (Open Space) To R-1 (Single-Family Residential)\n18\n7-24-23
