6. AGREEMENT WITH MEDIEVAL TIMES DINNER AND TOURNAMENT TO PERFORM\nPOLICE DETAIL SERVICES FOR FISCAL YEARS 2023-2024 AND 2024-2025\nPurpose: Authorize the Police Department to enter a professional services agreement\nwith Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament to perform police detail services for Fiscal\nYears 2023-2024 and 2024-2025. Medieval Times will reimburse the City costs at the\nrate of top-step police overtime pay, also to include worker’s compensation, a Medicare\ncontribution, and an administrative fee. There is no cost to the City.\nRecommended Action: 1) Approve an agreement with Medieval Times Dinner and\nTournament to perform police detail services for Fiscal Years 2023-2024 and\n2024-2025; 2) Authorize the City Manager and City Attorney to make any necessary,\nnon-monetary changes to the amendment; and, 3) Authorize the City Manager and\nCity Clerk to execute the agreement.
