7. AGREEMENT WITH KNOTT'S BERRY FARM TO PERFORM POLICE DETAIL\nSERVICES FOR FISCAL YEARS 2023-2024 AND 2024-2025\nPurpose: Authorize the Police Department to enter into an agreement with\nKnott’s Berry Farm to perform police detail services for Fiscal Years 2023-2024 and\n2024-2025. Knott’s Berry Farm will reimburse the City costs at the rate of top-step police\novertime pay, also to include worker’s compensation, a Medicare contribution, and an\nadministrative fee. There is no budget expense and/or incurred cost to the City.\nRecommended Action: 1) Approve an agreement with Knott’s Berry Farm to perform\npolice detail services for Fiscal Years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025; 2) Authorize the\nCity Manager and City Attorney to make any necessary, non-monetary changes to the\nagreement; and, 3) Authorize the City Manager and City Clerk to execute the\nagreement.
