9. RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND APPROVAL OF A\nCONTRACT WITH CS LEGACY CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR THE SOUTHERN\nCALIFORNIA EDISON (SCE) TRAIL PHASE 2 IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT\nPresented by Annie Singhal, Assistant Engineer\nPurpose: Authorize the Public Works Department to hire a contractor for the Southern\nCalifornia Edison (SCE) Trail Phase 2 Improvements Project. Associated costs in the\namount of $1,482,351.14 will be funded with Park-in-Lieu funds as well as a budget\ntransfer from the undesignated General Fund balance.\nRecommended Action: 1) Adopt a resolution approving plans and specifications for the\nSouthern California Edison (SCE) Trail Phase 2 Improvements Project; 2) Award a\ncontract to CS Legacy Construction, Inc. in the amount of $1,339,251.14; 3) Authorize\ncontingency funds in the amount of $135,000 in the same purchase order; 4) Approve a\npurchase order for The Solis Group in the amount of $8,100 for administration of the\nCommunity Workforce Administration (CWA); 5) Authorize a budget transfer of $300,000\nfrom the undesignated General Fund balance; 6) Authorize the City Manager and the\nCity Attorney to make any necessary, non-monetary changes to the contract; and,\n7) Authorize the City Manager and the City Clerk to execute the contract.
