12. ADOPT A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALOS\nVERDES ESTATES, CALIFORNIA, AWARDING A CONTRACT WITH WEST\nCOAST ARBORISTS, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $133,500 FOR\nPREPARATION OF A CITYWIDE TREE INVENTORY AND REPORT;\nAPPOPRIATE $183,750 IN UNENCUMBERED GENERAL FUND BALANCE\n(FUND 01); AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL\nCONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND APPROVE ADDITIONAL PROJECT\nEXPENDITURES NOT TO EXCEED $20,250, WHICH IS APPROXIMATELY\n15% OF THE CONTRACT AMOUNT\nRecommendation: Consider adoption of a Resolution R23-28 to: 1)\nAward a contract with West Coast Arborists, Inc., in the amount of\n$133,500 for preparation of a Citywide Tree Inventory and Report; and 2)\nAppropriate $183,750 in unencumbered General Fund Balance (Fund 01);\nand 3) Authorize the City Manager to execute all Contract Documents\nand Approve additional Project Expenditures not to exceed $20,250,\nwhich is approximately 15% of the contract amount.\nStaff Report
