5. AUTHORIZATION OF AN ADDITIONAL PARK RANGER FOR23-1335\nHARPER PARK SCHOOL FIELD ACCESS AND UPDATE\nREGARDING ENHANCED SECURITY AT FOUR NEWPORT MESA\nUNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT FIELDS ON THE WESTSIDE\nRECOMMENDATION:\nStaff recommends the City Council:\n1. Authorize an increase to the City’s Table of Organization by one full-time\nPark Ranger position in the Police Department and increase the Fiscal Year\n2023-34 Adopted Budget accordingly.\n2.
