RESOLUTION NO.      - Twelve (12)-month Lease with Swinerton Builders:  Covering office space in the Los Angeles World Airports-owned Skyview Center, located at 6033 West Century Boulevard, for estimated net revenue of $128,764 over the term \nPURPOSE: Staff request approval of the proposed lease with Swinerton Builders for office space at Skyview Center. Approval of the lease will create a new tenancy for twelve (12) months that will grow revenue at the asset. This action will generate $128,764 in revenue for Los Angeles World Airports over the term. \nRECOMMENDATIONS: Adoption of the Report requesting that the Board of Airport Commissioners determine that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article III, Class 1 (18)(c) and (e) of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines; find that the City's competitive bidding restrictions do not apply pursuant to Board Resolution 27530 whereby the Board of Airport Commissioners and the City Council found that it would be in the best interest of the City to contract with Colliers International Real Estate Management Services, Inc. for leasing services at Skyview Center; approve the Lease with Swinerton Builders; authorize the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to execute said Lease after approval as to form by the City Attorney; and further approve appropriation of $8,218.98 for broker commissions.
