RESOLUTION NO.      - Award of individual three (3)-year Contracts to [i] DWU Consulting LLC, [ii] Kestrel 360 Inc., [iii] Lesura Strategies LLC, [iv] RoVolus LLC, and [v] Unison Consulting Inc.:  Covering as-needed financial consulting services for Los Angeles International Airport and Van Nuys Airport, for cost not to exceed $150,000 for each contract \nPURPOSE: The purpose of the proposed action is to approve award of three (3)-year contracts for $150,000 each, and a total amount not to exceed $750,000, to a pool of Small Business Enterprise firms--DWU Consulting LLC, Kestrel 360 Inc., Lesura Strategies LLC, RoVolus LLC, and Unison Consulting Inc.--for as-needed financial consulting services at Los Angeles International Airport and Van Nuys Airport. Staff utilizes and engages on-call contracts to their expertise and broad experience in the aviation industry. \nRECOMMENDATIONS: Adoption of the Report requesting that the Board of Airport Commissioners determine that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article II, Section 2.f of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines; find that the work can be performed more economically or feasibly by an independent contractor than by City employees; approve Award of individual Contracts to DWU Consulting LLC, Kestrel 360 Inc., Lesura Strategies LLC, RoVolus LLC, and Unison Consulting Inc.; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to execute said Contracts after approval as to form by the City Attorney.
