RESOLUTION NO.      - Amendments to Contracts [i] DA-5127 with Quest Project Controls Inc. dba Construction Management Solutions, [ii] DA-5128 with Integrated Project Control Team Joint Venture, [iii] DA-5129 with Hill/APSI Joint Venture, [iv] DA-5130 with Berg & Associates, [v] DA-5131 with CMTS LLC, [vi] DA-5132 with Lea+Elliott Inc., [vii] DA-5133 with Jacobs Project Management Co., [viii] DA-5134 with Jacobsen l Daniels Associates LLC, [ix] DA-5135 with Parsons Transportation Group, [x] DA-5136 with Simpson & Simpson Management Consulting, [xi] DA-5137 with Vanir l ASL, [xii] DA-5483 with Smith Emery Laboratories, and [xiii] DA-5484 with Twining Inc.:  To increase the contract authorities and extend the terms to June 30, 2024, with option to further extend to December 31, 2024, covering project controls support services, project and construction management services, program management and advisory services, and specialty inspection and materials testing services supporting the Los Angeles World Airports Capital Improvement Program and other key initiatives \nPURPOSE: The purpose of the proposed extensions and amendments is to provide contract capacity to continue essential project controls support services, project management and construction management services, program management advisory services, and specialty inspection and materials testing services supporting the Capital Improvement Program and enterprise-level initiatives of Los Angeles World Airports through June 30, 2024, with options to extend through December 31, 2024. \nRECOMMENDATIONS: Adoption of the Report requesting that the Board of Airport Commissioners determine that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article II, Section 2.f of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines; find that the work can be performed more economically or feasibly by an independent contractor than by City employees; approve the Amendments to Contracts DA-5127 with Quest Project Controls Inc. dba Construction Management Solutions, DA-5128 with Integrated Project Control Team Joint Venture, DA-5129 with Hill/APSI Joint Venture, DA-5130 with Berg & Associates, DA-5131 with CMTS LLC, DA-5132 with Lea+Elliott Inc., DA-5133 with Jacobs Project Management Co., DA-5134 with Jacobsen l Daniels Associates LLC, DA-5135 with Parsons Transportation Group, DA-5136 with Simpson & Simpson Management Consulting, DA-5137 with Vanir l ASL, DA-5483 with Smith Emery Laboratories, and DA-5484 with Twining Inc.; authorize the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to execute said Amendments after approval as to form by the City Attorney and approval by the Los Angeles City Council; and further authorize the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to execute the extension options, with additional increases to the contract amounts.
