4. APPROVAL OF BUDGET AMENDMENTS FOR SPONSORSHIP OF THE OC\nSUSTAINABILITY DECATHLON EVENT AND MEMBERSHIP FOR THE U.S.\nCONFERENCE OF MAYORS\nPurpose: Approve budget amendments for sponsorship of the 2023 OC Sustainability\nDecathlon and membership for the U.S. Conference of Mayors. Associated costs in the\namount of $20,000 will require a budget amendment from the undesignated General\nFund balance.\nRecommended Action: 1) Approve a budget amendment in the amount of $10,000 for\nsponsorship of the 2023 OC Sustainability Decathlon for FY 23-24; and 2) Approve a\nbudget amendment in the amount of $10,000 for a one-year U.S. Conference of Mayors\nmembership for FY 23-24.
