12B. PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH INFINITY TECHNOLOGIES FOR\nMANAGED INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND HELP DESK SUPPORT SERVICES\nThe City Council will consider entering into a Professional Services Agreement with\nInfinity Technologies (Infinity) for Managed Information Technology (IT) and Help Desk\nServices. Infinity will work with the City’s IT Specialist to support all City facilities under\nthe direction of the City Manager or her delegate.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council declare that the project is exempt from the California Environmental\nQuality Act (“CEQA”) under Section 15061(b)(3) as the activity is covered by the\ngeneral rule that CEQA applies only to projects which have the potential for causing\nsignificant effect on the environment. Where it can be seen with certainty that there\nis no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the\nenvironment, the activity is not subject to CEQA; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to enter into a Professional Services Agreement\nbetween the City and Infinity for an initial term of five years with an option for two\ntwo-year extensions, in a total not-to-exceed amount of $163,150 annually, in a form\napproved by the City Attorney for Managed IT and Help Desk Services.
