9A. Public Works - Adopt RESOLUTION to Apply for CalRecycle Grants and Authorize\nPublic Works Director to Execute Grant Documents. Expenditure: None.\nRecommendation of the Public Works Director that City Council:\n1) Adopt a RESOLUTION authorizing the submittal of applications to the California\nDepartment of Resources, Recycling, and Recovery (CalRecycle) for all grants for\nwhich the City of Torrance is eligible for a five-year period beginning August 8, 2023\nand ending August 8, 2028; and\n2) Authorize the Public Works Director or designee to execute all grant-related\ndocuments.
