Resolution amending Resolution No. 6454 creating the position of Marketing and\nCommunity Engagement Manager\nThe City Council will consider adopting a Resolution ___________ amending Resolution No.\n6454 (Salary Resolution and Position Classification Plan) by creating the position of Marketing\nand Community Engagement Manager, reclassifying a Management Analyst to a Community\nEngagement Management Analyst. The City Council will also consider approving the Job\nClassification Specifications for the two positions: Marketing and Community Engagement\nManager classification and Community Engagement Management Analyst in the City Manager's\nOffice. Additionally, the City Council will consider updating the Salary Pay Table for the City of\nSouth Gate Professional and Mid-Management Association (PMMA) by adding the Marketing and\nCommunity Engagement Manager at Pay Scale 616 ($6,839 - $8,313 monthly), an Exempt\nClassification, and the Community Engagement Management Analyst at Pay Scale 610 ($6,362 -\n$7,733 monthly), a Non- Exempt Classification. Finally, the City Council will consider authorizing\nthe City Manager to eliminate the Management Assistant position in the City Manager's Office if\nthe position becomes vacant.
