CONSIDER APPROVAL OF THE EXPENDITURE OF QUIMBY FEES OUTSIDE A\nNEIGHBORHOOD WHERE THE FEES WERE COLLECTED TO UPGRADE RESTROOMS IN\nCITY PARKS\nCEQA: Determine the project is Categorically Exempt from the California Environmental\nQuality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article 19, Section 15301, Existing Facilities, Class 1 of the\nCEQA Guidelines, since the proposed project does not include any expansion of the existing\nsite, and includes repairs, maintenance, improvements, and minor alterations to the existing\nparks. Further, if the activity is deemed a project, it would be exempt pursuant to Section\n15061(b)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nThe City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider approving the expenditure of\n$115,000 in Quimby Fees outside a neighborhood where the fees were collected for restroom\nupgrades at Baldy View Park and Sierra Vista Park and approve a budget amendment.
