PROJECT NO. 7929.2 - RESOLUTION NO. 23-50 – BUDGET AMENDMENT, AWARD OF CONTRACT\nAND CONTRACT AMENDMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION AND CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT SERVICES\nFOR LOCAL STREETS REHABILITATION PROGRAM PHASE 2 – ZONE 19, ENGINEER’S REPORT NO.\n23-13\nStaff recommends City Council:\na. adopt Resolution No. 23-50, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF\nNORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2023/24 ADOPTED\nBUDGET TO APPROPRIATE MEASURE M AND MEASURE R FUNDS TO PROJECT NO. 7929.2\n– LOCAL STREETS REHABILITATION PROJECT PHASE 2 ZONE 19, in the amounts of $142,456\nand $304,267, respectively; and\nb. award a contract to All American Asphalt in the amount of $4,195,195 with up to a 10% contingency\nfor construction of Project No. 7929.2, roadway surface improvements for Zone 19; and authorize\nthe City Manager to execute the contract and any amendments within the 10% contingency if\nnecessary, on behalf of the City, in a form approved by the City Attorney; and\nc. approve Amendment No. 3 for Project No. 7928 with Willdan Engineering to add Construction\nManagement & Inspection services for Project No. 7929.2 in the amount of $209,760; and authorize\nthe City Manager to execute the amendment on behalf of the City, in a form approved by the City\nAttorney.
