8. Authorization to Purchase Replacement Fleet Heavy Equipment, unit #92 and\nvehicle replacement unit #21\nRecommendation:\nThat the Town Council:\n1- Authorizes the purchase of One (1) new 2023 Caterpillar Model\n930M Wheel Loader including optional equipment from Quinn\nCAT, with the amount not to exceed $410,000.00 to replace\nvehicle #92; and authorizes the purchase of a One (1) new 2023\nDodge Ram 1500 Classic Tradesman truck, from Joshua Tree\nChrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, with the amount not to exceed of\n$55,000.00 to replace vehicle #21.\n2- Declares the 2005 CAT Loader (924G) and 2001 Chevy S-10\nPickup as surplus, and approves the sale of the surplus vehicles,\nauthorizing the Town Manager or designee to auction/sell the\nvehicle through a public bidding/auction process or through\ndisposition through dismantling services.
