13) Award of Contract for Trash Implementation Program for Catch Basin Full Capture\nConnector Pipe Trash Screen inserts, Capital Improvement Project (CIP) No.\nZ30015\n1. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a Contractor Services\nAgreement with United Storm Water, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $150,000\nannually for the next 5 years for a total of $750,000, from FY 23-24 through FY 28-\n29, for the purchase of Full Capture Connector Pipe Trash Screens at various\nlocations as part of implementation of CIP Z30015, in such form as approved by the\nCity Attorney; and\n2. Waive the formal bidding process per Municipal Code Section 3.08.070(G) for the\npurchase of the Full Capture Connector Pipe Trash Screens from United Storm\nWater, Inc. because the installation and ease of maintenance best suits the City’s\nneeds.
