4. DESTRUCTION OF SURPLUS POLICE DEPARTMENT PROPERTY - The listed police equipment in\nAttachment 1 is outdated and no longer needed. Each unit is obsolete and ineffective for current\noperational requirements. Each will become surplus to the City’s operational needs and should be\ndisposed per Administrative Regulation No. 606.\nRecommendation: That the City Council declare the equipment identified in Attachment 1 as surplus to\nthe City’s needs and further recommends that the staff be directed to destroy the listed items per\nAdministrative Regulation No. 606.
