REGISTER OF AUDITED DEMANDS for the following:\nFiscal Year 2022-23 – In the amount of $632,219.54 dated July 20, 2023, and in the amount of\n$76,2811.92 dated July 26, 2023, and in the amount of $111,453.83. dated August 3, 2023; and\nFiscal Year 2023-24 – In the amount of $1,401,808.12 dated July 20, 2023, and in the amount of $82,407.14 dated July 26, 2023, and in the amount of 1,319.613.47 dated August 3, 2023\nRecommendation: That the City Councill approve the Register of Audited Demands.

CITY OF LA VERNE TREASURERâS REPORT FOR QUARTER ENDING JUNE 30, 2023 - The\nTreasurerâs Report for Quarter ending June 30, 2023, is submitted for City Council to receive and file per\nCity of La Verne Administrative Regulation Number 215, the Statement of Investment Policy, and the\nState of Californiaâs Government Code (GC) Section 53646.\nRecommendation: That the City Council receive and file the Treasurerâs Report for the Quarter ending\nJune 30, 2023.

4. DESTRUCTION OF SURPLUS POLICE DEPARTMENT PROPERTY - The listed police equipment in\nAttachment 1 is outdated and no longer needed. Each unit is obsolete and ineffective for current\noperational requirements. Each will become surplus to the Cityâs operational needs and should be\ndisposed per Administrative Regulation No. 606.\nRecommendation: That the City Council declare the equipment identified in Attachment 1 as surplus to\nthe Cityâs needs and further recommends that the staff be directed to destroy the listed items per\nAdministrative Regulation No. 606.

5. DECLARATION OF SURPLUS PUBLIC WORKS PROPERTY - The Public Works Department is\nseeking City Council declaration of certain vehicles and equipment as surplus property. Each listed unit\nis no longer useful or is ineffective for current operational requirements is proposed to be disposed of per\nAdministrative Regulation No. 606.\nRecommendation: That the City Council declare the vehicles and equipment identified in Attachment 1\nas surplus direct staff to sell each asset per Administrative Regulation No. 606.

TRACT MAP NO. 72428, BOND REDUCTION - Meritage Homes of California Inc., the developer of\nCreekside at La Verne (Tract Map No. 72428), a 22 Lot single family subdivision located south of the\nintersection of San Dimas Canyon Road and Golden Hills Road, has requested the reduction of their\nPerformance Bond. Staff has inspected and verified that all monuments have been placed.\nRecommendation: That the City Council authorize the reduction of the bond amounts for the\nPerformance Bond to approximately 15% of its value and retain the Grading Bond at the full value.\nPUBLIC HEARING

PUBLIC HEARING FOR ANNEX OF TERRITORY INTO COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 11-1,\n(ANNEXATION 2023-01) OF THE CITY OF LA VERNE - On July 17th, 2023, The City Council adopted\nresolution No. 23-44 declaring the intention to initiate proceedings for annexation No. 2023-1 into the\nCommunity Facilities District (CFD) No. 11-1 setting the public hearing to occur on August 21, 2023. The\narea proposed for annexation is lot 1 of the Final Tract Map No. 83353 (Brandywine) as depicted on the\nAnnexation No. 2023-1 map. (PLEASE NOTE: Council Member Johnson will declare a conflict of interest\nand abstain from voting on this matter, because he owns property within 500â of the proposed Annexation\nArea. Mayor Pro Lau will declare a conflict of interest and abstain from voting on this matter, because she\nis a member of the University of La Verne Board and the University has property subject to CFD No. 11-1.)\nRecommendation: That the City Council, after drawing lots to allow a conflicted member to participate to\nestablish quorum, shall open the public hearing and continue it to the September 5, 2023, City Council\nmeeting.\nOTHER MATTERS

8. FINAL TRACT MAP APPROVAL; TENTATIVE TRACT NO. 71373 (SAGE CANYON) - On September\n14, 2016, the Planning Commission approved Tentative Tract Map No. 71373 for 14 detached single-\nfamily homes on 11.53 acres of land located on 1977 Golden Hills Road. Following the City Council\nadoption of two Ordinances pertaining to a Zone Change and a Zone Amendment, the Tentative Map No.\n71373 became effective on January 4th of 2017. The Final Tract Map has been submitted for approval,\nallowing for the subdivision of three existing parcels that comprise the approximate area of 11.53 acres.\nRecommendation: That the City Council adopt Resolution No. 23-56 titled, âA RESOLUTION OF THE\nCITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA VERNE, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,\nAPPROVING THE FINAL MAP FOR TRACT 71373, A REQUEST BY SAGE CANYON DEVELOPMENT\nLLC, TO SUBDIVIDE THREE PARCELS WITH AREA OF 11.53 ACRES AT 1977 GOLDEN HILLS ROAD\nINTO A 14 UNIT, SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED SUBDIVISION,â approving the Final Tract Map No. 71373\nfor 14 detached single family homes and direct staff to sign the map as to its conformance with the\nSubdivision Map Act, Zone Change 36-15ZC, Zone Amendment 37-15ZA, and City Municipal Code.
