11. Approval of Agreement with Institute for Ecological Civilization (EcoCiv) and God’s Pantry\nfor Services Relating to Implementation of the California Violence Intervention and\nPrevention Grant (CaVIP)\nIt is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1) Approve a two-and-a-half-year agreement with Institute for Ecological Civilization\n(EcoCiv) in the amount not to exceed $155,000 for project monitoring, evaluation and\ncreation of the Local Evaluation Plan and Final Evaluation Report relating to the\nimplementation of the California Violence Intervention and Prevention (CalVIP) Grant\nProgram Funds;\n2) Approve a two-and-a-half-year agreement with God’s Pantry in the amount not to\nexceed $270,000 to manage the street outreach component for implementation of the\nCalVIP Grant; and\n3) Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute the agreement and any\nextensions, subsequent changes or amendments thereto, on behalf of the City, subject\nto review and approval as to form by the City Attorney.\nAttachments: CalVIP Staff Report Aug2023\nAttach 1 - EcoCiv CALVIP PROPOSAL\nAttach 2 - God's Pantry CALVIP PROPOSAL (v2)
