Providing for the Payment of Previously Contracted Implementation of\nExpert Power and a Software as a Service (SAAS) Agreement for Continued\nAnnual Maintenance Support for Five Years in a Not-to-Exceed Amount of\n$432,310………………………..…………………..……………………………... 68\n(Staff Report: Jim Steffens, Acting Electric Utility Director)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the City Council adopt Resolution 2023-137\napproving the contract for payment for the previously contracted implementation and\nthe future completion of the implementation of Expert Power with a remaining\nimplementation contract balance of $67,435 for a total not-to-exceed amount of\n$432,310. Staff also recommends the City Council approve the SaaS agreement with\nSATEC, Inc. for Expert Power continued annual maintenance support providing data\nanalytics and cloud services. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute all\nrelated agreements between the City and SATEC, Inc. and to make non-substantive\n4\nAugust 22, 2023\nchanges to the scope of the agreement and any necessary budget transfers and\naccounting entries.
