C. Acceptance of Annual Audit Reports for The Fiscal Year Ended June 30, 2022 The\ncertified public accounting firm of Lance, Soll & Lunghard, LLP (LSL) was engaged\nby the City Council to perform an audit of the financial statements and perform\ncompliance testing of the City of Rosemead of the fiscal year ended June 30, 2022.\nLSL conducted the audit in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards\nand issued an unmodified (clean) audit opinion on the financial statements. The\nreport provides a summary of the audit report to be used as a companion to the\npublished Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). Also included are the\nRosemead Housing Development Corporation Financial and Compliance Report, and\nother documents related to the financial audit. CEQA: Not subject to the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act.\nRecommendation: That the City Council receive and file the City of Rosemead Annual\nComprehensive Financial Report, the Rosemead Housing Development Corporation\nAnnual Financial Statements, and other related audit reports for fiscal year ended June 30,\n2022.\nStaff Report
