P. 410 9. SUBJECT: RIGHT-OF-WAY ACQUISITION – COUNTY LINE ROAD MOBILE\nSOURCE AIR POLLUTION REDUCTION REVIEW COMMITTEE (MSRC) GRANT\nFUNDED PROJECT\nRECOMMENDATION: That City Council:\n1. Approve a Purchase and Sale Agreement with Denys J. Merriman, Janice H.\nMerriman, Michael L. McGeorge and Emily A. McGeorge, (APN 0319-233-23) for\nthe acquisition of a 10,454 square foot permanent easement for right of way purposes\nand the construction of the County Line Road MSRC Grant Funded Project for an\namount not to exceed $10,400; and\n2. Approve an expenditure up to the amount of $3,000 for closing costs associated\nwith the proposed purchase and sale agreement and the amount of $2,300 for right\nof way acquisition coordination/staff time for a total cost in the amount of $15,700\nfor the acquisition of the permanent right-of-way easement; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute the necessary documents to\ncomplete the acquisition process.
