16. AWARD CONTRACT: INSTALLATION OF LED LIGHTING AND CONTROL LINK AT\nTHE ALHAMBRA DRIVING RANGE – F2M23-63, C2M23-70, M2M23-146\nThe Alhambra Driving Range at the Alhambra Golf Course needs an upgrade to LED\nlighting and the efficient remote-control operation of the driving range lights. The Alhambra\nDriving Range installation of LED lighting and a remote operation system at the Alhambra\nGolf Course will be purchased through a cooperative purchase agreement. Cooperative\npurchase is allowable per Municipal Code 3.36.080(B)(3). On June 23, 2023, Sourcewell\nopened bids for procuring sports lighting with related supplies and services and awarded\ncontract 041123-MSL to Musco Sports Lighting on June 23, 2023. This contract does not\nexpire until June 16, 2027.\nRecommended Action: City Council award a contract, subject to final language\napproval by the City Manager and City Attorney, to Musco Lighting LLC. in an amount not\nto exceed $142,668 for the installation of LED lighting and remote operation of driving\nrange lights at the Alhambra Golf Course; find the Project categorically exempt from\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section\n15301: Existing Facilities – Class 1; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to\nfinalize the City Council's action.
