I. AWARD OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF\n$34,886.10 FOR PRINTING AND MAILING SERVICES FOR THE DISCOVER\nSAN GABRIEL PUBLICATION\nOn April 18, 2023, Council authorized the professional services agreement\nwith We the Creative to design a new publication, Discover San Gabriel. Staff\nreleased a request for proposals for printing and mailing services on August 9,\n2023 and received seven proposals. The current Fiscal Year 2023-24 general\nfund budget includes a total of $98,804 within the non-departmental account,\n121-721-00-62-000, for the graphic design, printing and mailing of Discover\nSan Gabriel. This budget is adequate to cover the annual graphic design cost\nof approximately $41,000, annual printing cost as proposed at $34,886.10 and\nannual mailing costs of approximately $20,000. Although the cost increases\nover the next several years the cost for the graphic design services decreases\nnext fiscal year by approximately $9,500 ensuring the total project stays within\nbudget.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council review and approve the Professional\nServices Agreement with Advantage Mailing LLC to provide printing and\nmailing services for a term of three years and authorize the City Manager to\nexecute the agreement.
