8. RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2023-24 COMPREHENSIVE FEE SCHEDULE FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT\nRELATED FEES - The City’s Comprehensive Fee Schedule, as established by Resolution 23-33, is\nreviewed each year in conjunction with the annual budget process. The Fire Department identified that there\nwere necessary adjustments but, due to staffing changes, additional time was required to conduct the\nnecessary analysis. As such, the Fire Department is presenting an update to their section in the Fiscal Year\n2023-24 fee schedule to recover costs effectively and accurately.\nRecommendation: That the City Council adopt the Resolution No. 23-63 titled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE\nCITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA VERNE, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,\nAMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 23-33 RELATIVE TO CERTAIN FEES AND POLICIES FOR SERVICES\nPROVIDED BY THE CITY OF LA VERNE.”\nOTHER MATTERS
