8. Approval to Consider Second Amendment to the Service Agreement for\nConsultant Services by and between the City of Baldwin Park and\nKingdom Causes, dba City Net\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve the second amendment to the service agreement for\nconsultant services by and between the City of Baldwin Park and\nKingdom Causes, dba City Net in the total amount of $1,165,677.35\nto operate Serenity Homes for one (1) year and continue serving fifty\n(50) beds of interim housing for families experiencing homelessness\nat Serenity Homes from September 23, 2023, to September 22,\n2024; and\n2. Authorize the Mayor to execute the second amendment to the\nservice agreement; and\n3. Authorize the Director of Finance to appropriate and make the\nnecessary budget adjustments; and\n4.
