7.4 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDED PROFESSIONAL SERVICES\nAGREEMENT WITH LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY GROUP TO PROVIDE LEGISLATIVE\nSERVICES TO THE CITY\nComments:\nThe City continues to be in need of the professional services of Legislative Advocacy\nGroup as an independent contractor to provide legislative services to the City. Legislative\nAdvocacy Group, is fully qualified to perform such services by virtue of its long tenure with\nthe City. Because of this and the experience, training, education and expertise of its\nprincipals and employees, the City would like to extend the agreement.\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council approve an amended contract services\nagreement with Legislative Advocacy Group for Lobbying Services; and authorize the City\nManager sign an agreement on behalf of the City of Lynwood on a form approved by the\n3\nCity Attorney.
