CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING A\nREIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY DEVELOPMENT\nAUTHORITY FOR THE CITY’S CONTINUED PARTICIPATION IN THE PERMANENT\nLOCAL HOUSING ALLOCATION (PLHA) PROGRAM FOR YEAR 3 (2023) ALLOCATION\nTO IMPLEMENT THE PROGRAM DURING FISCAL YEAR (FY) 2023-2024\nResolution approving and authorizing a reimbursement agreement with the Los Angeles County\nDevelopment Authority (LACDA) for the City’s continued participation in the Los Angeles County\nDevelopment Authority Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) Program. Which will be\nused to create a new rental assistance program for Bell Gardens residents.\nRecommendation:\nIt is staff's recommendation that the City Council:\n1. Adopt the attached Resolution, approving and authorizing a reimbursement agreement with\nthe Los Angeles County Development Authority for the City’s participation in the Los\nAngeles Urban County Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) Program for Year 3\n(2023) Allocation to implement the program during Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-2024; and\n2. Rescind Resolution No. 2023-60.
