APPROVAL OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZATION TO SOLICIT\nBIDS FOR THE VETERANS PARK CITY YARD STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS (C.I.P.\nNO. 3880)\nThe plans and specifications for the Veterans Park City Yard Stormwater Improvements have been prepared. Approval of this item will allow the City to advertise the project for bids.\nRecommendation:\nIt is staff’s recommendation that the City Council by motion:\n1. Approve plans and specifications for the Veterans Park City Yard Stormwater Improvements;\nand\n2. Authorize staff to solicit competitive bids and publish the Notice Inviting Sealed Bids (NIB);\nand\n3. Appropriate $567,193 of Measure W funds to complete this project; and\n4. Find that the project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act\n(CEQA) pursuant to Guidelines Section 15301(c).
