CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 23-14,\nAPPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF RENE SALAS AS CITY\nMANAGER AND APPROVAL OF CITY MANAGER EMPLOYMENT\nAGREEMENT\nStaff is asking the City Council to consent to the appointment of Rene\nSalas as City Manager and approve his employment contract for services\nas City Manager.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council adopt\nResolution No. 23-14, approving the employment agreement between the\nCity and Rene Salas for the position of City Manager and authorizing the\nMayor to execute the employment agreement. In the alternative, Staff\nrecommends City Council provide additional direction regarding the\nemployment agreement.
