CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 23-10,\nAPPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 11 TO AGREEMENT SUBAWARD\nNUMBER ENP202110 WITH THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES FOR\nTHE ELDERLY NUTRITION PROGRAM SERVICES\nOn June 14, 2022, a one-year agreement between the County of Los\nAngeles through its Department of Workforce Development, Aging and\nCommunity Services (the “County”) and the City of South El Monte (the\n“City”) was entered into to assist with the funding for the City’s Elderly\nNutrition Program Services (the “Agreement”) for Fiscal Year 2022-2023.\nThis Amendment will increase the allocated baseline funding from\n$484,000.00 to $494,865.00 resulting in an increase of $10,865.00 for\nFiscal Year (FY) 2022-23 only for the purchase of approved equipment\nitems that will be used for the provision of the Elderly Nutrition Program\n(ENP).\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 23-10, approving Amendment No. 11 to extend\nexisting agreement Subaward Number ENP202110 with the County of\nLos Angeles; and\n2. Authorize Interim City Manager, or designee, to execute the agreement.
