2.5 Consideration of Resolution of Necessity for Condemnation of Improved\nProperty located at 23690 Bundy Canyon Road for the Bundy Canyon Road\nImprovement Project, Segment 2 (CIP 026-2)\nPresented By: Thomas D Jex , Public Works/ Engineering Department\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Conduct a hearing on the proposed Resolution 2023-__ of the City of\nWildomar finding and determining that the public interest, convenience, and\nnecessity require the acquisition of certain property for public purposes; and\n2. Review the evidence presented, including this staff report and public\ncomments, and close the hearing; and\n3. Find that on September 10, 2014, in accordance with the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) and State CEQA Guidelines §15070, the\nCity Council adopted Resolution 2014-048 certifying an Environmental\nImpact Report for the Project, and that on September 9, 2020, the City\nCouncil adopted Resolution 2020-62, approving an Addendum to the\nEnvironmental Impact Report, and that no additional CEQA findings are\nrequired for the Project; and\n4. Adopt Resolution 2023- __ entitled:\nA RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WILDOMAR\nFINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST, CONVENIENCE\nAND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FOR\nPUBLIC PURPOSES.\n10
