FISCAL YEAR 2022 ASSISTANCE TO FIREFIGHTERS GRANT (AFG) PROGRAM AWARD AND BUDGET\nADJUSTMENT\nRequest the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2023-105 authorizing the Escondido Fire Department to\naccept FY 2022 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) funds; authorize the Fire Chief or his designee to\nexecute grant documents on behalf of the City; and approve budget adjustments needed to spend grant\nfunds. The Department of Homeland Security has authorized the City of Escondido to spend its funds on\nequipment to protect the public.
