Adopt a Resolution Accepting Grant Funds for Operation of the Bridge Housing Program\nat Hope for Home Homeless Services Center and Amendment of the FY 2023-24\nOperating Budget\nIt is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1) Adopt the following resolution:\nRESOLUTION NO. 2023-159 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF\n$915,000 IN CONTINUUM OF CARE (COC) HOUSING HOMELESS, ASSISTANCE\nAND PREVENTION (HHAP) AND MEASURE H GRANT FUNDS FOR THE\nOPERATION OF THE BRIDGE HOUSING PROGRAM AT HOPE FOR HOME\nHOMELESS SERVICES CENTER (H4H), AMENDMENT OF THE FY 2023-24\nOPERATING BUDGET TO INCREASE REVENUE ESTIMATES BY $1,649 AND\nREDUCE APPROPRIATIONS BY $12,085\n2) Amend the agreement with Volunteers of America Los Angeles (VOALA) as the H4H\nSite Operator by awarding $866,975 to operate the Bridge Housing Program; and\n3) Authorize the City Manager to execute all agreements, amendments and any other\ndocumentation requested for acceptance of the award, distribution of the funding and\noperation of the H4H Bridge Housing Program, subject to approval as to form by the\nCity Attorney.\nAttachments: Staff Report - Bridge Housing FY 2023-24\nResolution No. 2023-159 Bridge Housing FY 2023-24
