15. RUNWAY 06 PRECISION APPROACH PATH INDICATOR PROJECT\nRecommendation:\n1. Approve plans and specifications for Runway 06 Precision Approach Path Indicator\nProject.\n2. Approve the following budget transfers and appropriations in Project 49015 Runway\n06 Precision Approach Path Indicator Project in the Airport Fund (Fund 40):\nSeptember 19, 2023 - Page 9\n· Federal Aviation Administration Airport Improvement Program Grant award to CIP\nFund (Fund 74). The preliminary grant authorization totals $925,598 with additional\nmonies available based on final eligible project costs.\n· Caltrans Division of Aeronautics Grant award to CIP Fund (Fund 74). The\npreliminary grant authorization totals $46,280 with additional monies available\nbased on final eligible project costs.\n· $34,000 budget transfer and appropriation from Airport Enterprise Fund Balance\n(Fund 40).\n3. Reject Guy Construction bid due to non-responsiveness.\n4. Award $899,899 construction contract to Vellutini Corporation dba Royal Electric\nCompany for Project 49015 Runway 06 Precision Approach Path Indicator Project and\nauthorize City Manager, or designee, to execute the contract, in a form approved by\nthe City Attorney.\n5. Authorize Administrative Services Director, or designee, to enter $42,153 purchase\norder with C & S Companies, Inc. for professional engineering construction support\nservices for the Runway 6 Precision Approach Path Indicator Project .\n6. Authorize Public Works Director, or designee, to approve any future change orders for\nconstruction and professional engineering construction support services within the\napproved project budget.
