7.e. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 23-91,\nAPPROVING AWARD OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT\n(PSA) TO TRANSTECH ENGINEERS, INC. FOR THE MERCED\nAVENUE GREENWAY PROJECT\nOn July 20, 2023, a Request for Proposals (RFP) was solicited to provide\nconstruction management and construction inspection (CMCI) services for\nthe Merced Avenue Greenway Project. The project includes roadway\nresurfacing, reconstruction of concrete curb ramps, sidewalks, curb, and\ngutter and the installation of decentralized Low Impact Development (LID)\nand Best Management Practices (BMPs) within the street right-of-way that\nslow, capture, treat, and infiltrate storm water runoff. Work also includes\ninstallation of striping and pavement markings to incorporate bike lanes on\nMerced Avenue between Rush Street and Lerma Road.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 23-91, awarding a PSA to Transtech Engineers,\nInc. for construction management and construction inspection (CMCI)\nservices, in an amount not to exceed $856,225; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager or designee to negotiate and execute the\nagreement.
