C. COMMUNITY SPECIAL EVENTS 2023-24\nCommunity engagement events or special events are held throughout the\nyear. During the Budget Study Session and at times during the year, the\nsubject of community special events has come up. The City Council has raised\nideas about new or enhanced events. Staff is bringing this item for further\ndiscussion and Council direction.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council discuss the upcoming events for the\nremainder of 2023 and 2024 and provide direction to staff.
