RESOLUTION NO. 23-59 APPROVING A REQUEST FOR TEMPORARY\nSTREET CLOSURE ON THE 800 BLOCK OF COMMERCIAL AVENUE\nThe Public Works Department received a request from Jason De La Torre,\nowner of the property located at 864 Commercial Avenue, for a temporary\nstreet closure. The purpose of this request is to hold a block party for\nOgopogo Brewing’s 5th Anniversary Celebration. The block party will be held\non Saturday, October 21, 2023, on the 800 block of Commercial Avenue from\n4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. There is no fiscal impact to the budget for this event.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 23-59\nauthorizing closure on the 800 block of Commercial Avenue from South\nGladys Avenue to the end of the cul-de-sac from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on\nSaturday, October 21, 2023.
