E. PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH ARCHITECTURAL\nRESOURCES GROUP FOR THE HISTORIC RESOURCES SURVEY PHASE 2 IN\nTHE AMOUNT OF $39,995\nOn April 5, 2022, the City Council approved a Professional Services Agreement\nwith Architectural Resources Group (ARG) for the preparation of a citywide\nhistoric resources survey. ARG has completed the Citywide Historic Resources\nSurvey Report Phase 1. A new agreement with ARG is required, to move\nforward to Phase 2 of the survey. If approved, as part of Phase 2 of the\nproject, ARG will continue with outreach and education work with the\ncommunity, and further evaluate and document properties that may qualify to\nbe on the City’s inventory and be designated as a local historic individual\nresource, resource contributing to a district, and potential historic district(s).\nFunding for Phase 2 has been approved as part of the Fiscal Year 2023-24\nbudget in the Community Development Department Contractual Services\nAccount No. 121-810-14-22-000.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council approve the Professional Services\nAgreement with Architectural Resources Group for Phase 2 of the Historic\nSurvey and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement and issue a\npurchase order in the amount of $39,995.
