AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BEVERLY HILLS AMENDING BEVERLY\nHILLS MUNICIPAL CODE §10-3-100 TO REDEFINE AN ALTERNATIVE\nPARKING FACILITY AND FINDING THE AMENDMENT EXEMPT FROM THE\nCALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT. – For Introduction\nComment: Staff recommends the City Council consider the Planning Commission's\nrecommendation to redefine an Alternative Parking Facility to include fully\nautomated parking systems. The Ordinance is the result of a Zone Text\nAmendment request by an applicant to construct an alternative parking facility in\nconjunction with a new three-story commercial building located at 8633 Wilshire\nBoulevard. Pursuant to the provisions set forth in the California Environmental\nQuality Act, the City Council will also consider adoption of a Class 5 Categorical\nExemption.
