6. NOTICE INVITING BIDS: ALHAMBRA PARK POOL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT –\nF2M22-37, N2M23-121\nOn October 24, 2022, the City Council awarded a contract to Goodale Architecture and\nPlanning for professional engineering and design services to provide plans, specifications,\nand bid documentation for the Alhambra Pool Improvement Project. The Alhambra Park\nPool Improvement Project will include a complete renovation of the pool facility to\ntransform the lobby, expand restrooms and changing areas, upgrade to high efficiency\nfixtures, install new roofing and exterior upgrades, sustainable landscaping, and shaded\nseating. Specifications and bid documentation have been completed for the Project. Bids\nare due no later than 10:30 a.m. on December 7, 2023 in the office of the City Clerk and\nwill be opened at 11:00 a.m. that same day.\n5\n10-9-23\nRecommended Action: City Council authorize staff to circulate a Notice Inviting Bids\nto prospective contractors for the Alhambra Park Pool Improvement Project; and, direct\nstaff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
