Resolution amending Resolution No. 6454 (Salary Resolution and Position\nClassification Plan) to create a full-time Court Liaison Officer and a Records Management\nTechnician - Police, approving corresponding classification specifications, and updating\nthe Consolidated Salary Pay Table to include the two positions\nThe City Council will consider adopting a Resolution amending Resolution No. 6454 (Salary\nResolution and Position Classification Plan) by taking the following actions: (HR)\n1) Creating the full-time position of Court Liaison Officer in the Police Department;\n2) Approving the classification specification for the full-time position of Court Liaison Officer;\n3) Updating the Consolidated Salary Pay Table for the City of South Gate by adding the full-time\nposition of Court Liaison Officer at Pay Grade 516 ($4,440 - $5,397 monthly), a Non-Exempt\nClassification assigned to the Municipal Employees Association ("MEA");\n4) Creating the full-time position of Records Management Technician - Police in the Police\nDepartment;\n5) Approving the classification specification for the full-time position of Records Management\nTechnician - Police; and\n6) Updating the Consolidated Salary Pay Table for the City of South Gate by adding the full-time\nposition of Records Management Technician - Police at Pay Grade 541 ($5,332 - $6,482\nmonthly), a Non-Exempt Classification assigned to MEA.\nDocuments:\nItem 4 Report 10102023.pdf
