8. Award Contract Services Agreement for Development of a Short Range Transit Plan\nCITY RECOMMENDATION: 1. Award a Professional Services Agreement to Nelson/Nygaard in\nthe amount of $190,000 for the development of a Short Range Transit Plan; 2. Authorize\ncontingency of 10% in the amount of $19,000 for a total contract amount not to exceed\n$209,000; 3. Approve supplemental appropriation from Fund 209 Proposition A Local Return in\nthe amount of $9,000.00; and 4. Authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute the\nAgreement including minimal and/or non-substantive changes.
