1.11 Road Rehab and Maintenance Project and Slurry Seal Project (CIP 057-2,\n058-2) Contract Items\nPresented By: Jason Farag , Public Works/ Engineering Department\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Approve City Contract Change Order (CCO #2) to convert all asphalt AC\noverlay quantities to asphalt rubber hot mix (ARHM) to achieve a superior\nsurface pavement, deleting Bid Item #21 Apply Type II Microsurface (inferior\nsurface), with corresponding increased ARHM quantities at $0.05/sqft with a\ngrant offset.\n2. With no total contract price increase, approve the revised bid schedule from\nAll American Asphalt (AAA) correcting the total price of Bid Item #19 from\n$633,675.00 to $815,745.00, and Bid Item #21 from $224,784.10 to\n$42,670.88 due to an allocation error impacting both Bid Items.\n3. Authorize the Public Works Director to execute a three-party Escrow\nAgreement with Citizen's Business Bank and Project Contractor All American\nAsphalt, as allowed under Public Contract Code Section 22300.\n4. Make a finding that the Road Rehab and Maintenance Project and Slurry\nSeal Project (CIP 057-2, 058-2) are exempt from Multiple Species Habitat\nConservation Plan Mitigation Fees.\n5. Approve a supplemental appropriation of $24,000 in expenditures and\nincrease in revenue budget for Fund 507 to allocate available grant funds to\nthe Project.
