4.5 AWARD OF A PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE W/B\nSANTA MARGARITA PARKWAY BRIDGE GUARDRAIL REPAIR TO C & W\nCONSTRUCTION SPECIALTIES, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $37,433.00\n(Nguyen)\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1) Approve the plans and specifications for the W/B Santa Margarita\nParkway Bridge Guardrail Repair Project; and\n2) Find that the Project is categorically exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA), as a Class 1 Existing Facilities,\npursuant to CEQA Guidelines, Section 15301; and\n3) Award a Public Works Construction Contract to the lowest responsive,\nresponsible bidder C & W Construction Specialties, Inc. of Ventura,\nCalifornia, in the amount of $37,433.00, and reject all other bids; and\n4) Authorize the Mayor to execute the proposed Public Works\nConstruction Contract.\nItem No. 4.5
