6.A. CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT WITH SELECT ELECTRIC, INC.\nFOR CIP 2305, SAN VICENTE BLVD AND ROSEWOOD AVENUE\nSTREET IMPROVEMENTS, AND AMENDMENT NO. 14 TO THE\nAGREEMENT FOR SERVICES WITH MICHAEL BAKER\nINTERNATIONAL [S. CAMPBELL, J. GILMOUR, R. GARLAND]:\nThe City Council will consider approval of a construction agreement\nwith Select Electric, Inc. to construct CIP 2305, San Vicente\nBoulevard and Rosewood Avenue Street Improvements, and\namending the agreement for services with Michael Baker\nInternational to increase the not-to-exceed amount of the\nagreement.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve a construction agreement with\nSelect Electric, Inc. in the amount of $1,039,198 for the\nconstruction of CIP 2305, San Vicente Boulevard and Rosewood\nAvenue Street Improvements, and authorize the City Manager or\ndesignee to execute documents incident to the agreement; 2)\nAuthorize the City Engineer to approve change orders to the\nconstruction agreement in an amount not to exceed 25%\n($259,799.50) of the total agreement amount; 3) Approve\nAmendment No. 14 to the agreement for services with Michael\nBaker International to increase the amount of the agreement by\n$111,150, for a total not-to-exceed amount of $1,139,770.83 and\nauthorize the City Manager or designee to execute documents\nincident to the agreement; 4) Authorize the Director of Finance &\nTechnology Services to allocate $662,865.12 from unallocated\nreserves in the Proposition C Fund for construction of CIP 2305,\nSan Vicente Boulevard and Rosewood Avenue Street\nImprovements, and related costs; and 5) Adopt Resolution No. 23-\n_______: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY\nOF WEST HOLLYWOOD APPROVING THE DESIGN AND PLANS\nFOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CIP 2305, SAN VICENTE BLVD\nAND ROSEWOOD AVENUE STREET IMPROVEMENTS,\nPURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 830.6."\nSTAFF REPORT\nITEM 6.A. - ATTACHMENT A\nITEM 6.A. - ATTACHMENT B\nITEM 6.A. - ATTACHMENT C\nPUBLIC CORRESPONDENCE 10.12.23
